Platform displays for NYCTA (New York City Transit Authority)
Data Display USA supplied additional NYCTA Units to South Ferry Station in Manhattan, New York.The original units were supplied through Siemens as the system integrator. This latest installation is outside the original scope and Casey Systems overlooked the installation at the South Ferry Station. NYCT leaned on Data Display to create canned messages for their Annunciator system.
These displays provide commuters with real time information on the arrival of their trains and subway cars which reduces delays and stress for New York commuters.
More recently Data Display has provided 48 four lines displays which utilise a new ARM controller.
